Lily Fang
An experienced music educator and violinist with a passion for music and teaching.
Lily Fang is a dedicated music educator with over 14 years of experience as a Suzuki method certified violin instructor and Buddha Light Youth Symphony Orchestra strings section instructor. Ms. Fang also holds a California k-12 teacher's license in music and works as an elementary instrumental teacher at Los Angeles Unified School District.
Lily Fang was born and raised in Taiwan where she began playing the violin at the age of six and piano at the age of nine. She received her bachelor’s degree in music in violin performance at Tainan University of Technology in Taiwan. She later went to The Ohio State University to pursue a master’s degree in music in Violin Performance studying under Professor Kia-Hui Tan and Mr. Leonid Polonsky.
Ms. Fang has numerous orchestras and ensemble experiences both in Asia and the USA during her school years and has been a valued member of various symphony orchestras and chamber groups such as a founding violin member of Amadeus Camerata based in southern California since 2022, Corona Symphony Orchestra, and Whittier Regional Symphony
